Aesthetic State of Mind (“ASOM”) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to our website at aestheticstateofmind.com.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

Our website is conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Conformance means that the content fully meets the accessibility standard with no known exceptions on our own content.

Known Accessibility Features

• Skip navigation link — A “Skip to main content” link appears at the top of every page for keyboard users.
• Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements (navigation, forms, buttons, modals) are accessible via keyboard. Navigation menus open on focus and close on Escape.
• Focus management — Modal dialogs and mobile menus trap focus and restore it appropriately on close.
• Screen reader support — ARIA roles, labels, and live regions are used throughout. Decorative images use empty alt attributes.
• Form accessibility — All form fields have associated labels, required fields are indicated, and errors are announced via role=“alert”.
• Touch targets — Interactive elements meet the 44×44 CSS pixel minimum touch target size.
• Language — Page language is declared as English (lang=“en”).
• Semantic HTML — Proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, and semantic elements are used throughout.

Known Limitations

• Third-party widgets: Our email marketing platform (Flodesk) injects form elements onto this page that contain known accessibility issues including an unlabeled close button and a low-contrast editable field. These elements are outside our control. We have reported these issues to Flodesk and encourage them to remediate. Our own code is fully WCAG 2.1 AA conformant.
• Booking & payments: Our booking system (Aesthetic Record) and payment processor are operated by third parties. We encourage those vendors to maintain accessibility but cannot guarantee their conformance.
