About Sciton mJoule (Moxi)
Moxi, available on Sciton's mJoule platform, is a gentle non-ablative fractional laser designed for all skin types and all times of year — including summer. It's the perfect entry-level laser treatment for clients new to laser resurfacing, or as a maintenance treatment between more intensive procedures like HALO.
How It Works
Moxi uses 1927nm thulium fiber laser energy to create a pattern of micro-coagulation zones in the skin. These trigger collagen remodeling and pigment correction with minimal surface disruption, resulting in less downtime than traditional ablative lasers.
What to Expect
30–45 minute treatment. Mild redness and swelling for 2–3 days. Small micro-crusts may form and shed within a week, revealing brighter skin. Sunscreen is essential post-treatment.
Results
Improved radiance, more even skin tone, and a reduction in melasma and sun damage. Results are more subtle than HALO but with less downtime. Series of 2–3 recommended for best results.
